Things I love include:
- Spending time with family
What about Digital Marketing interests you?
Many digital marketing aspects interest me, but if I had to choose it would be connecting people to businesses and doing everything online.
How did you come across Deeply Digital?
I first worked for Deeply Digital’s sister company, AVirtual, and put-forward that I was interested in joining the digital marketing team.
How long have you been part of the Deeply Digital team for?
I have been at deeply for around 6 or 7 months.
What did you do before joining the Deeply Digital team?
I was working as a service consultant for a “small” family-run engineering business.
What have been the highlights of your time here so far?
Getting more into a refined section of digital marketing, i.e. WordPress, and learning how easy it is.
Do you think there is room to grow in the company?
Definitely! From knowing very little – to junior – to senior positions are most common I’d say.
Moving into a more defined role is also possible because this is a “new” growing company itself – career/position jumps can be expected!
How do you find the work environment and the team you work with?
Chilled, smart and moving forward in all areas!
Is there anything that you’ve learnt at Deeply Digital that stands out?
WordPress – I’ve learnt how to use it, to put it simply. It’s a simple software application that I learnt how to use mostly by myself, as well as with the help of Ashlea & Henry. Because I am learning more and more about it every day, it’s something that I can make use of for a lifetime and easily grow and become a WordPress developer.
What is your favourite social media platform and why?
Instagram. I feel more connected to people when I see their photos/videos rather than read their status. Basically, I love imagery plus getting new ideas for fashion, beauty, food and travel!
