Music is my life. Love the ocean and surfing. Digital Marketing is the tastiest bread and butter a working boy could indulge in. Consider myself abnormal, but what is normal? Exactly.
Play in a band called Grassy Spark, on a mission to make good music, make people feel good, and eventually like all of us aspiring billionaires; quit the 9-5 and live the dream. Love animals so much that I gave up eating them. Love to laugh and make others laugh. Life is about survaabin (to vaab while you survive).
What about Digital Marketing interests you?
That it’s never fixed and is constantly changing.
How did you come across Deeply Digital?
I was actually here since its very beginnings as one of the 1st employees when it was still called Deeply Social. Some would call me the veteran of the group.
How long have you been part of the Deeply Digital team for?
Just over a year now. I Started on the 14th of August I think.
What did you do before joining the Deeply Digital team?
Full-time musician/model/fun employee.
What have been the highlights of your time here so far?
Just good times with good people really.
Do you think there is room to grow in the company?
Always; and what’s even better is that you can create a path that others can follow too.
How do you find the work environment and the team you work with?
Comfortable, fun, funny – never a dull moment in this loony bin!
Is there anything that you’ve learnt at Deeply Digital that stands out?
That learning is more important than everything else. If you are learning you are successful. Also, a work-life balance should be monitored at all times when working for a startup, and Deeply, allows employees to draw the line in the sand when things get hectic, as long as proper delegation takes place (that’s a fancy word we use to get people to do our work for us haha).
What is your favourite social media platform and why?
Instagram – The focus is on quality and connecting, as well as reaching audiences that you want to create a community with is a hashtag away. As long as the quality of content is on point, an account can grow very very quickly.
