I’m a project manager by nature. I love my lists and all things digital and am passionate about marketing and enjoy getting results for my clients. I am a foodie and love to travel and much of my work experience has come from those two industries.
What about Digital Marketing interests you?
It amazes me that the whole digital world didn’t exist only 20 years ago and that things we have come to know as second nature weren’t around before that – Google (1998), Gmail and Facebook (2004), Youtube (2005)! I love that the industry is fast-paced and ever-changing and there are always new things to be learnt.
How did you come across Deeply Digital?
Before moving to AVirtual, I was a Digital Marketing Manager for an online Restaurant and Accommodation guide. Although I loved the digital world, I was looking for a change in the industry and whilst searching online, I came across Deeply. The young, creative agency was immediately attractive but I wanted to improve on my digital marketing skills a little further before applying for a fully-fledged digital marketing agency – thus my move to AVirtual first.
How long have you been part of the Deeply Digital team for?
What did you do before joining the Deeply Digital team?
I worked at AVirtual and was the Head Client Manager/Project Manager for my biggest client who ran a Digital Marketing Agency in the UK.
What have been the highlights of your time here so far?
- The growth – of myself as an individual and of the company as a whole.
- The people – meeting and working with people from different backgrounds with a variety of skills and creative ideas.
- The industry – it’s ever-changing and there are so many new and exciting things being developed and introduced all the time.
Do you think there is room to grow in the company?
Absolutely! The company is old enough to have established itself but young enough to be expanding at a rapid pace.
How do you find the work environment and the team you work with?
We work in a very fresh, creative space. The team is young, friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. They are passionate about what they do and have a wide range of skills to offer their clients.
Is there anything that you’ve learnt at Deeply Digital that stands out?
Although we each have our own clients, the team works well together. Each person knows what they are good at and uses the skills from others in the team to help in areas that they feel could be improved. It’s great because it means we grow as individuals whilst still giving our clients the very best service.
What is your favourite social media platform and why?
Instagram – I love photos! I don’t enjoy reading essays about what people had for lunch and how far they ran and how many drinks they had the night before. “A picture is worth a thousand words”.
